Lord Jesus Christ, you spoke about loving our enemies, praying for those who
persecute us, turning the other cheek, and there in Gethsemane you showed
that you meant those words, no matter what the cost.
Lord Jesus Christ, we are good at saying the right things, but all too often we
merely talk, found wanting when the real test comes. Help us, like you, to
practice what we preach. Amen
